I recently purchased a Pedal Python cable wrap from the USA in an attempt to tidy up my pedal board, I find myself getting annoyed by untidy and messy leads around boards…a very silly thing to get annoyed about I know but thats how my brain is wired. Here is a little info on the pedal python and why I think it’s a great product.
Pedal Python are company based in the USA that sell flexible cable wraps that allow you to secure multiple leads together. I came across this company on Facebook and after chatting with them I decided to purchase. I was initially impressed with the product but just as impressed with the response I had from any questions i had about the product and postage to the Uk.
Here is the pedal python as I received it.
I needs to use four leads to run my pedal to get the best result. One from the guitar to the board, and three running from the board to the amp as I am using the amps effects loop for my delay and reverb. So this product seemed like the perfect solution to hold the silly amount of leads I have together and keeps things tidy. Here is how my leads looked before I set up the pedal python.
Here is a close up shot of the Pedal Python after I had put the three leads going directly to my amp through the pedal python.
Overall I can’t recommend this product enough to anybody that needs to tidy up their set up. If you are gigging regularly this is a great way of keep all your leads together making it much easier to set up and pack down. In my opinion it also looks great. The product itself is a very reasonable price as are the postage costs. It came with a nice elastic tie that allows me to securely hold my leads around the back of my amp without damaging them which has been a problem lately. Make sure you go and check these guys website and Facebook.
